As promised, I have been researching options for ongoing integrative and functional medicine care on Vancouver Island, including options for hormone replacement therapy. As an Aroga primary care client, you will have your own nurse practitioner, dietitian and health coach as well as a case coordinator to help with logistics of your care. Virtual and face to face visits are available. Aroga primary care concierge (yearly memebership) programs offer several options that include a Nurse Practitioner as provider, comprehensive testing, a dietition / health coach; cognitive tracking, and access to hormone management with a functional medicine MD . Below is a breakdown of their services.
The Package called: INFINITY FOUNDATIONS is affordable and fully supportive of primary care and lifestyle medicine needs.
Aroga CEO , Amar Magon, and director of operations, Nishi M. are designing options for care that will best suit the needs of patients who are already practicing self care including nutrition, exercise, sleep hygiene, and mind / body practices. Happily, Aroga is also offering options for continuing hormone replacement therapy.
1. Infinity Foundations: (A great maintenance plan for for clients who are already tracking and managing their nutrition, exercise and general healthcare). This membership is $1,800 + GST annually.
Ten in-person or telemedicine visits with a dedicated Nurse Practitioner, including an annual physical exam.
This package can be flexed to include functional medicine visits for hormone replacement therapy, or additional dietition or clinical counsellor visits.
any additional appointments with the Nurse Practitioner will be billed in 30 minute increments at $75 per half hour.

One 45-minute nutritional consultation with a Registered Dietitian
Diagnostics: Electrocardiogram (ECG) & Body Composition Analysis (BCA)
Dedicated Program Coordinator to assist you with booking appointments and answering any questions you may have

This membership is $5,000 + GST for the first year; subsequent membership renewal is $3,700 + GST annually
Comprehensive Health Assessment goes well beyond a traditional health exam with screening tests, while also analyzing lifestyle behaviours including your nutrition, physical exercise, stress management, social connections, sleep and substance use.You have the option to complete this assessment in one day or over multiple days.
